1. Who we are

Avize ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered website builder platform for agencies and freelancers. We are operated as an independent software service. By creating an account and using Avize you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and hashed password when you register.
• Client & site data: names, descriptions, and website content you create inside Avize for your clients.
• Billing data: payment is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card number. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
• Email notifications: if you configure a notification email for a client site, that address is stored to route lead form submissions.
• Usage data: basic server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps for security and debugging purposes.

3. How we use your data

• To operate and provide the Avize service — generating, storing, and publishing websites.
• To send transactional emails (password resets, lead notifications) via Resend.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
• To troubleshoot issues and improve the platform.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
• We do not use your data for advertising.

4. AI-generated content & third-party AI

Avize uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate website content. When you submit a business description or prompt, that text is sent to Anthropic's API to produce website copy, structure, and recommendations. By using the generation feature you acknowledge that your prompt text is transmitted to Anthropic and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Do not include sensitive personal information in generation prompts.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on Railway's cloud infrastructure. We use bcrypt hashing for passwords. Databases are not publicly accessible. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure — use a strong, unique password for your account.

• Access: you can view your account data in Settings at any time.
• Correction: you can update your name and password in Settings.
• Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will process requests within 30 days.
• Portability: you can export your site data by contacting support.

8. Cookies

Avize uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in (NextAuth.js). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

9. Children

Avize is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of Avize after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
